It all depends on how the mood takes you.
  • Our Yoga Practice

During our retreat we’ll engage in a daily Restorative Yoga practice. It’s become one of our yoga instructor’s favorite styles of yoga to teach because of the deep relaxation it promotes from the moment we get on the mat until our last posture at the end of the practice.
We’re generally not instructed on how to relax. Yet, this is the crux of Restorative Yoga. Rather than the energetic or pretzel-like postures, sometimes the hallmark of other yoga styles, the emphasis of this practice is on stillness and deep repose.
Using props, such as blocks and blankets, we’ll engage in gentle postures and stretches designed to soothe the mind and help us experience the kind of deep rest that comes with a good night’s sleep. Ahhh…
