The Experience

Each year beginners and advanced meditators from around the world gather for this sell-out event. Together under the direction of gifted retreat facilitator Rev. Paulette, they co-create a safe, sacred space, to experience just the right amount of soul-nourishing prayer and meditation practices – all designed to usher participants deeply into the stillness of the silence.

You too can take be part of this exceptional retreat experience and allow it to nudge you into an exquisite journey to your inner centre. Not only is it likely you’ll be transformed, but once you’ve touched the stillness, you may actually walk away wishing for even more time to engage in holy listening and Silence.

This retreat is designed to:

  • Safely immerse participants into a dedicated time of silence, reflection and renewal;
  • Provide meditation tools and tips to help move past the chattering, roving mind to the tranquility of healing, holy silence;
  • Provide time for individual practice while engaging in the language of silence;
  • Create space for silent interconnectedness with like-minded people on a profound level;
  • Include gentle, heart-inspiring music that touches the soul;
  • Invite an experience of centered calmness as we unplug from our devices and step away from the many distractions tugging away at our attention on a daily basis.
  • Up to six months from the date of the event: Refund less 25% ($81.25 deducted from Full priced registration and $68.75 deducted from Early Bird Registration).
    Six months to three weeks from the date of the event: Refund less 30% (or $97.50 deducted from Full priced registration and $82.50 deducted from Early Bird Registration).
    Three weeks to one week from the date of the event: Refund less 40% (or $130 deducted from Full priced registration and $110 deducted from Early Bird Registration).
    Eight days from the date of the event: No refund is available. Registration can, on request, be carried forward to the following year’s retreat. Registrations carried forward are transferable for 12 months only, after which they will expire.

    • An Altar item—a small sacred object that symbolizes a quality you are bringing to this experience. All items will be kept on the altar for the duration of the retreat and returned to you on Sunday morning during the morning program.
    • Sweater—room temperatures can fluctuate
    • Comfortable shoes—for walking the beautiful grounds, nature trails, and (weather permitting) to walk the Labryrinth as part of our retreat program
    • Rain gear—just in case

    • 3:00-5:00 pm – Arrival, Retreat Check-in
    • 3:30-4:30 pm – Optional Walking Tour
    • 4:30-5:30 pm – Welcome Reception
    • 5:30-6:30 pm – Dinner
    • 7:00-9:00 pm – Opening Program & Setting Sacred Intention
    • 9:00 pm – Free time

    Friday

    • 7:00-7:30 am – Rise ‘n Shine Morning Meditation (optional)
    • 7:30-8:30 am – Breakfast
    • 9:00 am-Noon – Morning Program (Enter the Silence Ceremony)
    • Noon-1:30 pm – Silent Mindful Eating Meditation (Lunch)
    • 1:30-2:30 pm – Afternoon Program
    • 2:30-5:30 pm – Afternoon Personal Rest and Reflection time – optional activities (including optional Restorative Yoga at 3:30pm)
    • 5:00-5:30 pm – Group Meditation
    • 5:30-6:30 pm – Silent Mindful Eating Meditation (Dinner)
    • 7:00-8:30 pm – Evening Program
    • 8:30 pm – Free time

    • 5:00-5:30 pm – Group Meditation
    • 5:30-6:30 pm – Silent Mindful Eating Meditation (Dinner)
    • 7:00-8:45 pm – Evening Program/Labyrinth Walk (Exit the Silence Ceremony)

    Your Retreat Presenter

    REV. PAULETTE PIPE is a masterful meditation teacher/facilitator, who is best known as the host of “Touching the Stillness”, a lively meditation and spiritual practice radio program on Unity Online Radio.
    With her distinctive gift of affirmative healing prayer, and meditation that stirs the soul, she masterfully creates rich, sacred prayer experiences that help others find deep peace during their meditation practice.
    Formerly Spiritual Director of the UK Unity headquarters, and then manager of the Retreats department at Unity Village, today Rev. Paulette heads Touching the Stillness Ministries, a vibrant, tithing, thriving prayer and meditation ministry, whose mission is to demonstrate and inspire in others, audacious, bold, and courageous prayer-powered living.
    Rev. Paulette is also a sought-after speaker who leads prayer-based retreats, workshops, and Sunday worship services in the United States and abroad. She also holds the role of Keeper of the Flame on Unity Worldwide Ministries’ Board of Trustees, where she holds sacred prayer space during the board’s deliberations and decision-making process at board meetings.

    Your Retreat Musician

    REV. MICHAEL GOTT has been writing and performing in the New Thought/Positive Music scene for over 20 years. He has recorded 10 albums and received numerous honors and awards, including a doctorate from the Centers for Spiritual Living for his contributions to the field of contemporary spiritual music.

    In recent years, in addition to his musical contributions, Michael has also become renown as a gifted speaker and spiritual teacher. He completed a master’s program with Holmes Institute in 2009 and went on to become an ordained as both a minister with Centers for Spiritual Living and a Unity Minister.

    He currently serves as Senior Associate Minister at Unity Houston.
